Description

Sylster Glowstorm is the final Boss in Waterworks. He and his Minions must be stopped to prevent them from draining all of the magic from the Spiral with the swirling Vortex they've created.

• While Sylster reportedly dropped "Tier 1" Hats in the past, KI Developers confirmed this is no longer the case. Currently, he only drops "Tier 1" Robes and Boots.
  
• The Second Chance Chest, Waterworks Chest, will appear after the duel.
  

Speech:

"So you're the one messing up my operation? I had a good thing going. The vortex was pulling in magic junk from all over! Now I got nothing! You're gonna pay for that!"

Cheats

Interrupt Cycle: All cycles last four Rounds, except for the first Trap cycle, which lasts three Rounds. These cycles start on the first Round of the fight and repeat until all enemies are defeated.

Trap Interrupt Cycle (First Cycle): (3 Rounds first time, 4 Rounds after)

• "Traps go undetected in the light!" - Sylster Glowstorm will cheat-cast a light Doom and Gloom, during which Wizards may cast Traps and Prisms. Sylster Glowstorm will remove positive Charms by cheat-casting a version of Enfeeble that removes three Charms from the caster.
  • Dissipate can be used to dispel this cheat.
  • Negative Charm Spells, such as Weakness, Smoke Screen, and Dispels, trigger this cheat.
  • Pet Spells do not trigger this cheat.
  • Shadow Creature Blades trigger this cheat.
  • Aegis prevents Charms from being removed.
• At the beginning of the first Round of this cycle, Sylster Glowstorm cheat-casts a mass version of Enfeeble that removes three Charms on all Wizards and cheat-casts a mass version of Cleanse Charm that removes three Traps on himself and all Minions.

Blade Interrupt Cycle (Second Cycle): (4 Rounds)

• "The blade goes unseen in the dark!" - Sylster Glowstorm will cheat-cast a dark Doom and Gloom, during which Wizards may cast Blades and other positive Charms. Sylster Glowstorm will remove positive Traps and Prisms by cheat-casting Cleanse Ward that removes one Trap or Prism.
  • Vaporize can be used to dispel this cheat.
  • For Elemental Trap and Spirit Trap, only the last Trap (Storm, Life) is removed.
  • Multi-target Trap Spells, such as Windstorm and Mass Prisms, do not trigger this cheat.
  • Indemnity prevents Traps from being removed.
• At the beginning of the first Round of this cycle, Sylster Glowstorm cheat-casts a mass version of Cleanse Ward that removes three Traps on himself and all Minions.

• "No Traps?!" / "No Blades?!" - If a Wizard casts a single-target attack Spell without activating a Trap (during a light cycle) or Blade (during a dark cycle), then the enemy that was attacked will cheat-cast the following Spell:
  • Sylster Glowstorm casts Ra, dealing 1,460-1,540 Balance Damage.
    • Unbalance can be placed on Sylster to prevent this cheat.
  • Spellhammer Sorcerer casts Scarecrow, dealing 600 Death Damage.
  • Water-Wing casts Rebirth (no Absorbs), healing 750 Health. With Doom and Gloom active, this cheat will only heal 375 Health.
  • All Enemy attack Spells do not trigger this cheat.
  • Spells such as Sun Serpent trigger this cheat.
• If a Wizard casts any Global Spell, Sylster Glowstorm will replace the Global with the current Doom and Gloom.
• Strangle can be used to dispel either Doom and Gloom, although Charms or Traps will still be removed if casted during the wrong Global, no matter what Global is currently active.
• "Not da' Boss!" - If Sylster Glowstorm has been defeated, the Spellhammer Sorcerer replaces Sylster's role in casting the light and dark Doom and Gloom cycles, starting with the initial three Round light Doom and Gloom.
• "Where did everyone go?" - If Sylster Glowstorm and the Spellhammer Sorcerer have been defeated, the Water-Wing replaces the role in casting the light and dark Doom and Gloom cycles, starting with the initial three Round light Doom and Gloom.
