Description

The Noxious Gas Golem is the final Boss in the Main Hall of Barkingham Palace. This Creature is responsible for beguiling the Chief Whip and the rest of the Barkingham yeomen, and must be stopped to save the Queen. Two additional Gas Elementals appear if there are more than two Wizards present.

Speech:

Chief Whip: "You're too late, Wizard! Doctor Jackall has kidnapped the Queen, and you'll never catch them before they reach the Royal Airship."

Noxious Gas Golem: "I have been instructed to Mesmerize you, Wizard. Prepare to be Mesmerized. Mesmerizing commencing in 3-2-1."

Monstrology Tome Description

Emits a hypnotic aerosol compound to gaslight its foes... whether it wants to or not. It's rather irregular like that.

Cheats

• "Alert: Noxious Gas Release Imminent" - At the beginning of the second Round, two Gas Elementals will join the duel, and will become active during the third Round.
• "Initiate: Support Maintenance" - At the beginning of the Round after one of the Gas Elementals reaches 50% Health or lower, the Noxious Gas Golem will interrupt-cast Take Power on each of the Gas Elementals individually. Two Rounds after the Elementals are sacrificed, additional Elementals will join the duel, and become active on the third Round after this cheat occurs. This cheat will repeat endlessly until the Noxious Gas Golem is defeated.
  • If the Chief Whip is defeated before the Noxious Gas Golem, then a third Gas Elemental can join the duel when the Elementals are recycled.
  • If Wizards flee and then return to this area so that Gas Elementals are present from the beginning of the Duel, then Gas Elementals will not be recycled once defeated.
• "Initiate: Defensive Screen" - At the beginning of every fourth Round, the Noxious Gas Golem will interrupt-cast Smoke Screen (-45%).
  

Chief Whip

• "Chip up!" - Whenever a Wizard casts a Damage Spell, there is a chance that the Chief Whip will interrupt-cast Spirit Armor on the target of the attack.

• If a multi-target Damage Spell triggers this cheat, then the Spirit Armor will be cast on whoever is in the first spot.
• "Hold the Line!" - Chief Whip can interrupt-cast Rebirth and revive fallen companions.

• "I'll catch you up!" - If a Wizard casts a Healing Spell, then the Chief Whip will interrupt-cast Entangle on the Wizard.

• Pet Spells will trigger this cheat.
